Going back to my Acadian roots!

With my great new quartet: Théo Brideau on violin,
Clinton Fernandes on drums and Julien Breau on double bass

Big news!

NATHALIE IN THE FIRST PART OF THE FRENCH MEGA STAR PATRICK BRUEL IN LYON IN FRANCE last July! In front of 6000 people during the Festival Printemps de Pérouges!

Always as active on stage, Nathalie is currently working on new songs for a new album!

Let’s remember that the singer-songwriter left in 2014 the beautiful city of Montreal (after having lived there for 20 years and also toured all over Europe for 10 years) to return to her Acadian roots! And happy!

With my great new quartet: Théo Brideau on violin, Julien Breau on double bass and Clinton Fernandes on drums, we have performed in many festivals here and elsewhere, including a marked participation in the Vitrines musicales Internationales as part of the Congrès Mondial Acadien, the prestigious Halifax Jazz Festival, the Rimouski International Jazz Festival, and an interview with Stanley Péan on Radio-Canada’s “Quand le jazz est là” program…among others!

Winter being my favorite season to enter a period (that I like to call) of “creative hibernation”… I am, of course, “gossering” as we say around here on new songs and it’s so much better!

So, several new songs to present to you this summer, dear public…

Just before my big departure from Montreal, I had the chance to present some shows including a participation to the Salon du Consommateur project in Ottawa, a few shows in Gatineau and Montreal.

I also received a writing grant from the Conseil des Arts et des Lettres du Québec, so I was able to spend several months writing and then go into the studio to explore and record my new material with the help of the talented musician Jocelyn Bigras (Cirque Éloizes)!
